Huacachina
Salut tout´l monde! On est en vie! On est parti hier de Pisco. On tenait a aider les gens mais il n y avais tout simplement pas de travail. Les ¨Casitas de madera¨(maisons temporaires) étaient en route mais personne savaient quand ils allaient arriver... Nous avons quand même réussi a aider un peu. J'ai trie des sacs de linge et des souliers et Celina a aide les enseignantes a l'école. Nous nous sommes faits de très bons amis au sein de l'ADRA: Sam, le meilleur chef en ville, Juan le coordinateur, Alimpio notre guide et George (prononce ¨Horhe¨) un bénévole du coin. Plusieurs habitants de la ville venaient donner un coup de main et ils ont étés très généreux avec nous! Les Peruviens sont un peuple très religieux. Nous sommes allés a l'église (une tente vu que les trois églises de Pisco se sont écroules pendant le teremoto).Le pasteur Daniel et les locaux nous ont accueillis a bras ouverts. Les hymnes style karaoke nous ont biens aides avec notre espagnol. Avant de quitter hier nous sommes allé en ville au marche et avons empli un de nos sacs de cadeaux pour les enfants et pour nos ôtes. C’était un départ émouvant...

Well, we arrived in the oasis town of Huacachina mid day yesterday and hit the sack! We changed hostels today and slept most of the day away…I think that time in Pisco took more out of us then we knew! Well here is this vacation town we have many things to do…drive around in sand buggies around the huge sand dunes and, who knows, even sand board down some of them! And go for a paddle board ride in the oasis and a bit of shopping in the mini market and visit the near by city of Ica and get bitten again by the monkey in one of the hostels and sleep some more and eat food and, and, and…
